Cameron, you are not even born yet, but you just lived through your first earthquake.
It was the oddest thing, at 4:36am Mommy and Daddy were sound asleep. All of a sudden, the doors on the house started to rattle in the door jams, and a picture fell off the wall. We couldn't hear anything, but Bailey started barking. After a couple seconds to wake up and realize what was going on, we realized that we were having an earthquake. I got out of bed, but stood in the doorway of our bedroom closet. Then your dad got out of bed. Before we knew it, it was over, although there were several aftershocks that day as well, we didn't notice them as much.
The house had no damage, but I went ahead and had Daddy take all the pictures off the wall over the pack-and-play you would be sleeping in in our bedroom. I was afraid that if it happened again once you were born, something might fall off the wall and hit you.
We were very lucky, but it was an exciting day, and I want to make sure to include this in your scrapbook.
